Pupil Assessment

Pupil Assessment

The Southover Partnership School provides a holistic education for children and young people with behaviour, emotional, learning and social difficulties, and those at risk of exclusion.

The Southover Partnership School was successfully launched and officially registered with the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) in August 2007.

Exclusive to The Southover Partnership School is the method of teaching our students. Unlike any other classroom we offer our students teaching on a 2:1 basis, with a teacher and teaching assistant present for every pupil. On any set task both teachers and student will all work on the same activity and discuss their findings together.

We create a supportive environment, enabling those who have been excluded or are hard to place, including those on the autistic spectrum and those with behaviour, social, emotional and learning needs, to achieve academically and vocationally.

Our school vision is “Creating a positive future”.
